When praying mantises are afraid of something they raise arms and spread their wings.It’s normal behavior.They defend themselves.

Summertime generally I take a butterfly photo early morning near alfalfa field arround my city. Suddenly I saw these mantis on the brunch.I approached to see more closely.I wanted to touch the mantises and they attacked to me, opening their wings and started to follow me.Quickly I started to take photo them, I didn’t want to miss this moment. I was taken these photos with Canon 5DM4 & 100 mm. macro, aproximately 40 cm.
It’s an incredible moment, I didn’t believe my eyes because I don’t know mantis behavior and I saw first time this pose.I am very excited and I remembered my hands were shaking when taking photos.I think It’s little miracle of the nature.
They looks like similing dancer.
